LEO Ready Privacy Policy

Pure Chaos Graphix LLC ("we") makes LEO Ready. This policy explains what the app collects.

On your phone only (encrypted, never sent to us): detail logs, hours and rates, report drafts, detail form entries, supervisor list, settings.

Sent to our server (Supabase) when you use an account:

• Account: email address, display name, rank, agency, and approval status, used to sign you in and confirm you are an approved officer.
• Backup alerts: when you tap "Need backup", the app reads your phone's precise GPS location once (latitude, longitude and accuracy), works out the police sub-zone, and sends that with the time and an optional short note (up to 140 characters). It goes to approved officers who are on duty in the same district or within about 3 km, and to approved supervisors for that district, who can see your exact position and a map link. When you turn on "On duty", the app reads your precise location once (if you allow it) and saves it with your sub-zone as your "last known position", so you can be matched to alerts within about 3 km; if you don't allow location, you are matched by your home district instead. Sending an alert also updates that position. It is cleared when you turn off "On duty", and on-duty status stops matching after 12 hours. Alerts and their delivery records are kept on our server until you ask us to delete your account; there is no automatic deletion yet.
• Push token: when you turn on "On duty" and allow notifications, a device token (Apple or Google) is saved to your account so backup alerts can reach your phone with a sound, even when the app is closed. Notifications contain the sub-zone and approximate distance, not your coordinates.

Location: the app only reads location while it is open and only when you tap (Where am I, Details, On duty, Need backup). It never runs in the background. Location used for Where am I and Details stays on your phone. It leaves your phone only when you turn on "On duty" or send a backup alert, as described above.

Email: detail forms and report drafts are sent through your phone's own email app; we don't receive them.

We do not sell data, show ads, use analytics or tracking, or share data with third parties except our service providers (Supabase for accounts and alerts, Apple and Google for push delivery). The app does not handle criminal justice information (CJIS) data.

Your choices: you can delete local data by removing the app, and you can ask us to delete your account at leo@purechaosgraphix.com.
